Privacy at Workshop
Updated 10 October 2026. This policy covers the tools hosted by Ideas All Day Workshop and their ChatGPT connections.
What we keep
We store your email address, account identifier, sign-in sessions and the permissions you grant to connected apps. Email sign-in codes expire after five minutes. Provisioned review accounts use a password stored as a hash.
Projects, game positions, notes, uploaded images, printer and filament profiles, print experiments and other content you choose to save are stored in your private account workspace. Pattern Print uploads and generated PDFs expire after one hour and may become unavailable earlier after a service restart. Download important files while they are available.
How information is used
We use this information to sign you in, save your work, run the tools you request and protect the service. Our Workshop server is hosted by Hetzner. Sign-in email is sent through our email delivery service. We do not add advertising trackers to Workshop.
When you connect a tool to ChatGPT, OpenAI receives the tool results and content returned for the actions you request. Your use of ChatGPT is also governed by OpenAI’s own privacy terms. Connecting one tool does not grant it permission to use every other Workshop tool.
Your controls
Visit Your account to export your available workspace data, disconnect an app or delete your account and private workspaces. Account deletion requires a recent sign-in and confirmation. Account downloads have a size limit; download large individual project exports separately. Disconnecting an app revokes its access but keeps your saved work.
Saved projects remain until you delete them or your account. A hashed deletion marker is retained to prevent stale requests or recovery operations from restoring deleted account access. Restricted recovery backups rotate on a seven-day retention schedule, so deleted information can remain in backups until rotation. Temporary exports, files you downloaded, and copies already sent to ChatGPT are not removed from your own devices or OpenAI by deleting your Workshop account.
Questions and requests
Contact hello@ideasallday.com for privacy questions or help with deletion. Include the affected account email; never send a password or sign-in code.
